Campers will have the opportunity to pick from a variety of different engaging skills to help them prepare for their future.

Monday Skill

Animals

We are excited to have Jungle Terry! He will be bringing 12-15 different animals. Animals demonstrate the amazing power of our God, and His creativity as well. As campers learn about the miracle working power in Jesus, we will also learn about the creative power of our Lord!

Tuesday Skills

Stem Activity

Campers will have the opportunity to see a Goodyear Race-Car up close, learn about car engines, and create their own mini model cars! Using everyday supplies, campers will build their car and then learn how they can use air, to power it. They will get a lesson on how real cars are powered- and the role that science plays in our everyday lives! We will encourage campers to see how awesome it is that God made us to think, to learn, and to grow!

Gardening

Campers will work hands on in an outdoor environment planting strawberry seeds! They will use garden tools to learn the process of planting and sustaining vegetation. The Campers will get to see the way that nature reflects our relationship with God. If we are rooted in Him, God will give us the strength to grow and will teach us how to show others love.

Wednesday Skills

Football/Cheer

In both activities they will be encouraged to work together and encourage one another. We are called to lift each other up, and love each other like Jesus! God gives us friends and teammates so we can pick each other up when we need it and share our strengths with each other! Football and Cheer are great avenues for implementing these ideas!

Art

We are getting ready for the party!  K-1st Graders will create and decorate their personal party hat! We’re talkin: glitter, stickers, streamers, and more! We want to give campers time to let their creativity flow! After all, we were made in God’s image – and He sure knows how to create!

2-6th Graders will be making sure they are decked out in a brand-new bracelet for the party! As we walk through the gospel, campers will be making bracelets with clay beads! Each color bead will correspond to different parts of the salvation story!  As they walk away from the week we pray these bracelets help us all to remember that Jesus is always a reason to celebrate.

Thursday Skills

Future First Responders

Future First Responders: Campers will get the chance to explore a firetruck, police car, and even an ambulance! Not only will they be able to see these life-saving vehicles in person, but they will also learn how they can be prepared to help during emergency situations. As campers learn more about First Responders and how they save people in need, they will also hear about the ultimate life-saving power of Jesus!

Friday Skills

Water Day

Campers will wrap up their week with water activities, enjoying the summer weather and spending time with the friends they’ve made!
