MCF (Mushayamunda Christian Foundation)

Impacting lives and making a difference

Mushayamunda Christian Foundation was formed in early 2000 by the Mushayamunda Brothers and their families, Dereck (Yvonne), Dennis (Girlie) and to serve the people of Matsai area in Bikita, Zimbabwe. The brothers were inspired to start the organization in honor of their late parents Tangston (Matangira) and Sipelile (Mai Lee) who loved the people and who were faithful servants to the people of Matsai.

MCF seeks to partner with like minded people and churches/organizations to create inspired serving opportunities directed towards disadvantaged communities, especially orphans and widows whose life processes have been changed by the prevalence of AIDS and poverty in Zimbabwe. For a few dollars a day you can support life changing ministry efforts towards orphaned children, support the availability of clean drinking water, augment food availability by developing irrigation/gardening projects, buying basic food stuff to feed the hungry while carrying out the great commission as envisaged in Mathew 28.

Please pray for these 3 main goals for 2021

  • To keep all our 15 pastors.

  • To remain effective in what we do despite the limitations by the pandemic.

  • Last year we did the reading and preaching through the New Testament in one year. This had a huge impact on all our churches as it raised biblical literacy to new levels. So, when the pandemic hit and churches were closed, this was the surest way to keep members engaged in the word. By public demand, all the churches requested to re-do it this year to make up for interruptions last year and for those who had no bibles. We therefore are praying for God to raise helpers to enable us to buy 1,000 bibles at $10-00 each. So far, we have commitments for $1,000-00 to purchase 100 bibles.

Rob Minton

Founded in 1993, CrossRoads Missions serves as a conduit for churches and individuals to provide meaningful ministry opportunities and make an impact for the Kingdom of Christ. Over a quarter million people have served with us throughout the United States and Mexico in our permanent fields in Piedras Negras, Mexico, New Orleans, Eastern Kentucky Appalachia Mountains, Western Kentucky and Louisville. Also, our Help Build Hope ministry brings volunteers together to build walls for affordable houses. We have now been a part of building over 1600 homes
These experiences not only enhance our local ministry partners but greatly challenge those who participate to consider deeper involvement in ministry both in the world and their own communities. We use construction, Medical missions, Education to reach out to underserved communities with the love of Christ.
Rob Minton and his sister Judy (Minton) Lopez are so very appreciative of the tremendous partner, Northside has been over the last 30+ years.

Currently we are a congregation of 55 adults and children meeting in a neighborhood church in Cancun. We also have 15 young people who meet every Saturday. With adult leadership, they learn about the teachings of the Bible in a way that speaks to their age level and gives them encouragement. They also share food and experiences with each other. The youth leader is responsible for letting us know if there are any issues that need to be addressed by the church. As people in our neighborhood learn more about Christ, they are becoming baptized believers.

Don Tingle

Don Tingle is the Executive Director of COMENSERV, which works mainly in Muslim regions of the world. He is currently the volunteer Director of Kenya Christian Industrial Training Institute (KCITI College) in the Eastleigh section of Nairobi. KCITI teaches job skills to poor young people who come from the nearby Somali neighborhood, Mathare slums, and other parts of the city. Most students receive some kind of scholarship assistance. They can participate in one year, two year, and three year training programs in the fields of Hospitality (culinary arts), Hair & Beauty, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Early Childhood Development Education, and Building & Civil Engineering. We also provide a two-year certificate for about 20 poor preachers from all over Kenya--all expenses paid for these preachers. The college was started by Christians in 1992. Tingle's goal is to make the college the best education institution possible for the surrounding Somali Muslim population as well as disadvantaged youth in nearby slums. You can read more about the college at our Web site www.kciti.edu or follow us on Facebook at Kciti Campus.

Judy Minton Lopez

I have been a living link missionary of Northside Christian Church for 31 years. Carlos and I have two children Cindy and Laura. Cindy and her husband Mario live in Louisville, KY and Laura lives in Piedras Negras. We have lived and ministered  in Piedras Negras Mexico since 1992.

For many years I helped to start and directed 3 Christian schools in the city. They currently run between 500-700 students each.

I am now the field director for the CrossRoads Mexico team.  Our team has grown this year and I am so blessed to work with amazing people.  God always provides for His work to be accomplished. This year we have been blessed by 3, year long interns. They are so young and  talented and have been a  huge blessing to me.

Crossroads has been building affordable homes  for christian families since 1991.  This year we completed house #36.

Our team also works with the immigrant population coming through our border city by providing shelter, food, friendship and a church family!  1000s of people from all over the world have stayed at Carlos’ “ranch” over the last couple of years.  I love meeting and serving these people.  By the time they make it to us they are completely exhausted and often sick. There are families that are only with us for a few days but others stay for months and we are able to minister to them in a very special way. God connects us to people who need us the most and because of Northside we are able to meet many of their basic needs.

This year, CrossRoads  started an English school and our interns help us teach. I have always loved teaching children and now really enjoy teaching adults.

Crossroads partners with Bethany Christian Church that ministers to local families as well as to the very transient community of immigrants. We also partner with Casa de Paz, a children’s home in our city.  We would love for you to come and visit or intern with us. God Bless you Northside!  Thank you for enabling me to serve in Piedras Negras.

OUR MISSION
"IDES exists to meet physical and spiritual needs of suffering people throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ."

COMPASSION
We are to show others the love God has shown us through His Son, Jesus Christ. (Luke 6:36; 1 John 3:16-18)
GENEROSITY
Our gratitude for God’s grace motivates us to give to others. (James 2:15-17; Proverbs 3:27, 28)
EVANGELISM
We are “beggars telling other beggars where to find food.” By giving physical bread we seek to earn the right to share “The Bread of Life” with the hungry. (Matt. 28:19,20; Acts 2:38; Colossians 1:28,29)
INTEGRITY
We must be good examples of what we teach. We are to be faithful and trustworthy stewards. We are to live above reproach. (2 Cor. 8:19-21; 1 Thes. 5:23, 24; 1 Tim. 3:2)
DEPENDENCE ON GOD
We are dependent on God for wisdom and guidance every day. We are to pray about everything. We will trust God to provide for our needs and we will seek first His kingdom.(John 15:5; Phil. 4:6, 7, 19; Matt. 6:33)
PARTNERSHIP
We believe that God works through His church to accomplish His purpose. We believe God has gifted His people to do ministry in His name. (Eph. 4:11-16; 1 Cor. 12)
GLORIFY GOD
“Whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, you must do all for the glory of God.”(1 Cor. 10:31; Matt. 5:16)
