AGAPE

Agape is a Bible study geared toward meeting the spiritual and relational needs of individuals with special needs ages 18 and up as well as a time of support, sharing and caring for the caregivers. Contact Ray Sanders for dates & times.

Deacon action response team

From time to time, our Deacons are asked to organize assistance opportunities for people within our congregation and surrounding communities with such needs as home maintenance inside and out, auto maintenance, transportation, used furniture delivery, snow removal, handyman work, etc. Volunteers are notified as requests are made in the service you indicate a willingness to serve, we then contact you and other interested volunteers. If you are available to help with that service opportunity, we will make the connection.

Griefshare

Northside's grief recovery group welcomes anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one through death. Grieving people from both Northside and the community are invited to participate. This group is open to both men and women. See griefshare.org for more information.

Shawl Ministry

Wrapped in His Love Shawl Ministry meets on the 2nd Monday of each month, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Banquet Hall room 102. This ministry creates and provides prayer shawls for those in need of encouragement. Women of all ages are welcome to join this ministry. You do not have to know how to knit or crochet prior to attending.

Divorce Care

The Divorce Care group is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside adults through one of life's most difficult experiences. The group's purpose is to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. See divorcecare.org for more information.

Cancer Support Ministry

Hope Ministry for Cancer Support: serves as a liaison to support men or women and their families as they are battling cancer. This team seeks to encourage these individuals and families with cards, phone calls, care packages, and personal contacts. If the person or family has a need, we seek to connect them to people who can help meet that need.
