On Monday our campers will be making their own Solar-Powered Smore Ovens! In this hands-on activity campers will learn about absorption, insulation, and the Sun’s energy while they assemble regular house-hold items into their very own smore-cooking mini-ovens!

(Ingredients to make smores at home will be sent home with kiddos alongside their Solar-Powered ovens)

We are excited to have Outback Skyler coming for Day Camp 2025! She is a passionate animal expert and will be bringing a wide variety of animals that campers will get the chance to see up-close and learn more about! As we learn about the kindness Jesus shows us, we can focus on the way we should also be kind to others, and to all of God’s creation!

Football/Cheer/Secret Ops(puzzle solving and taking action to serve others)

Campers can pick to be a part of a football, cheer, or a secret ops team on this day! In all activities they will be encouraged to work together, communicate, get active, and have fun! As we learn about the gift of forgiveness that we receive from God, campers will be taught how we can be good teammates (which sometimes means forgiving those around us)! We are called to lift each other up and love each other like Jesus!

Campers will get the chance to explore a firetruck, police car, and even an ambulance! Not only will they be able to see these life-saving vehicles in person, but they will also learn how they can be prepared to help during emergency situations. As campers learn more about emergencies and how to respond, they will also learn how Jesus teaches us to pray for others during these situations!

Throughout the week, campers will be given time with their small groups to practice a group act for their village talent show that will take place during their skill time on Friday. They can come up with an act that involves singing, dancing, skits, magic, or whatever else their creative minds can conjure up! We can’t wait to see our small groups work together to put on a show full of the gifts and passions that God has uniquely created them to have!
