At Northside, we want to be a church that impacts people for eternity. 

This is accomplished in many ways – one being through generosity.  Each year we collect a Thanksgiving love offering that is sent out to make a difference.  In the past, we have designated these funds towards supporting missionaries, packaging food for the malnourished, supporting people affected by natural disasters, building a home with Habitat for Humanity, helping launch local churches, as well as launching and expanding our Medina campus. 

“The goal of this year’s offering is to raise $100,000 to support four local ministries that are meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people in our community.”

Those ministries are: Love INC. of Medina County, Wadsworth FISH, Oasis of Hope, and our Food Pantry ministry.  We support these programs on a regular basis financially through our budget.  However, they require additional support due to increasing requests from families in need.  These programs help pay utility bills and rent, provide home essentials and groceries, counsel pregnant mothers, and give away infant supplies… but most importantly, they pray for and point people to Jesus!

Please take time to pray about what you and your family can give that is above and beyond your normal tithe.  The total amount collected will be split evenly between the four programs.

Meet the local ministries

  • Love I.N.C.

    Our Christian ministry works together with partner churches, organizations and agencies to help financially empower individuals and families. We help by providing financial assistance when struggling families and individuals are faced with utility disconnections, evictions and other financial crisis. Our trained volunteers and staff clarify and evaluate the requests for assistance to verify legitimate need. We endeavor to refer our clients to other resources that can partner with us to assist them. Love INC Medina is unique in our ability to network with local churches and agencies to unite to help those in Medina County. We do what any one church or agency cannot do alone!

    Wadsworth FISH is an all-volunteer, faith-based, 501 c(3) organization governed by a Board of Directors made up of local church and community members. FISH is dedicated to providing emergency financial assistance and compassionate care to neighbors who reside in Wadsworth and Wadsworth Township without discrimination or judgement.

  • Oasis Of Home

    You may find yourself in a circumstance that feels very overwhelming. You are not alone in whatever challenges you may face.

    Our caring staff and volunteers are here to walk through this time with you. Many of them have walked through similar situations and have found hope along the way.

    When you contact Oasis of Hope, our receptionist will briefly discuss with you, your situation, and then set up a free and confidential appointment with a staff member or volunteer.

    During your first appointment, we seek to get to know you and your circumstances. We will explain our programs and services, and identify which ones you could benefit from the most. We will do our best to answer any questions you may have about Oasis of Hope and help you move forward with our caring support.

  • Northside Food And Care Pantry

    Food & Care Pantry

    Wadsworth Campus: We open the doors at 4:30 pm The people who come are served a light meal. Shopping commences at 5 p.m. and we close the doors at 7 pm

    Medina Campus: Takes place from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

    Mobile Pantry Ministry: NCC packages bags full of personal care and non-perishable food items to deliver them to the partner ministries such as Oasis of Hope, Marian’s Closet, Cookstone Kitchen, etc. Volunteers are needed to pre-package the grocery bags and/or deliver them to our ministry partners.

     For all 3 Pantry Ministry efforts, we are seeking volunteers to be Pantry Partners who will make regular contributions of personal care items or non-perishables food to keep our pantry ministry well supplied with products to distribute. Each month you will be sent a list of suggested items we need to get in the hands families & individuals who have this need.
